Management and Chartering
PSVs, AHTS, Jack Ups and Semi-Submersibles
Workships Contractors has a long track record of adding value to vessel owners.
Seafox 6 – Jack Up Mobile Production unit
Investors purchased the four-legged jack up Banjaku in Japan. Workships Contractors was asked to mobilize the laid-up rig to Singapore for reactivation and classification under the ABS Classification Rules. While under conversion Workships fixed the rig on a civil construction project in Australia drilling the seawater inlets for the Botany Bay Desalination project on behalf of John Holland. Upon completion of that project she was demobilized to Singapore where Workships managed a major conversion project to meet the ABS MODU Rules as a mobile well testing and early production unit in Thailand. In 2012 she was purchased by the client and Workships was retained in a management role for several years afterwards.
Russian AHTS Vessels
For many years Workships provided commercial management and international operational support to a variety of offshore support vessels, including the five 80t bollard pull AHTS of the Neftegaz fleet.
Etesco Millennium – Semi-Submersible Accommodation
On behalf of investors Workships Contractors managed the conversion of a moored semi-submersible drilling rig into a 270 bed accommodation and repair support unit for a contract in Brazil. Following conversion, Workships provided the technical and refit management until 2012.
